  • What is life coaching?
The basic idea of life coaching emanates from Socrates’ perception of life. He believed that “the unexamined life is not worth living”. In its modern form, life coaching is a collaborative partnership and a safe space in which you can receive support in identifying and overcoming obstacles, challenges or blockages. As your life coach, I will help you identify your goals and help create a plan of action to achieve your dreams. I will offer accountability and empowerment each step of the way by providing an outsider’s perspective to assist you in discovering your own self. The ultimate goal would be for you to take control of your own life and claim back your power.
  • What life coaching is not.
A coach does not give advice or tell you what to do with your life. I will ask probing questions to uncover your own answers and offer a set of tools and new insights that will make you look at your life from a different perspective. I am not a licensed psychologist or therapist and is not trained to diagnose or treat any form of mental or physical illness.
  • What are the benefits?
You have all the answers deep within you. You also have blind spots and limitations about yourself and the world around you that shape your narrative about life. Coaching is a fresh perspective that can open up possibilities you cannot currently see for yourself. Coaching will also empower accomplish your goals and live the life of your own choice; not what others expect of you. Reclaiming your own power will make you feel fully alive and in control of your destiny.
  • Who comes to life coaching?
My clients include professionals, single mothers, homemakers, executives, students, grandparents, entertainers and public figures. The underlying reason why all these people come to coaching is because they want to change something in their lives.
  • What is the process of life coaching?
Coaching is a journey towards your goals. We will begin with identifying your specific needs and challenges and what is it that you want out of life coaching. Before our first session, I will send you a questionnaire to help you clarify and help me understand what you want and need out of coaching. During our first session, we identify what plan and frequency of sessions suits you best and then work towards creating an action plan that focuses on your specific goals and explore ways of removing the obstacles that stand between you and your desired life. In our sessions we will activate your inner coach and help you discover your true potential.
  • Is coaching right for me?
Coaching is most helpful when you are ready to help yourself. If you are determined to work on yourself and grow and develop as a person, life coaching can be of immense help. It requires focus and commitment in terms of time, money and energy. When you shift the focus to yourself, you will attract everything you ever wanted.
  • How long do I have to be in life coaching?
The timeframe varies from individual to individual. Some people activate their inner coach after 3-6 months of regular sessions and some take longer. In some instances, people who are committed to do the work see results within a few weeks and then return for monthly check-in sessions. To be clear, there are no long-term commitments: you can leave at any time if you're not getting value out of every single session.
  • What about confidentiality?
Our conversions will be 100% confidential and no one will know that we have spoken. The confidentiality of our engagement will also be protected by the terms of our coaching agreement.
  • Are your ICF certified?
Life coaching is not a regulated profession. As such, obtaining an ICF certification is a choice. After detailed research, I selected Leadership That Works (LTW) as a insitute to work with towards achieving ICF certification. LTW (http://www.leadershipthatworks.com) is that rare coach training academy that not only stands for but honors diversity, equality and inclusion. I completed my 9 month long training program in June 2021.
  • What is your availability?
I work with individual clients Monday to Friday 11:00am-7:00pm EST. In exceptional cases, sessions can be scheduled on weekends.
  • How much does life coaching cost?
Personal transformation is priceless. It is impossible to put a number on how much your self-awareness is worth. Or the meaning and satisfaction you find in relationships and career. Having a motivating and non-judgmental partner in your journey has value that simply cannot be calculated in Dollars, Rupees (or bitcoin). On average, a life coach based in New York would charge US$200 to US$1,000 per month for a 30- to 60-minute session three or four times a month which is about US$150 to $300 per hour. Obviously executive coaching costs much more with rates starting at US$ 500. I offer competitive rates starting at only US$ 150 per hour for a single TEST THE WATERS session. A discount is available for the 8 weeks DEEP DIVE and the 6-12 months EXCAVATION AND RECONSTRUCTION packages. Pro bono sessions are offered in special circumstances (find out more by clicking on the Rise Up page). For customers in Pakistan, I am happy to charge in local currency.
  • How can we meet?
Presently I am offering virtual sessions through Zoom to clients worlwide. Please email me at coachwithinyou@gmail.com to book a session. Once the current pandemic abates and it is safe to meet in person again, I will be available to offer face to face sessions to client in New York. I travel to the Middle East and Pakistan often and you can send me an email to check my availability in a certain region.

“if you’re still looking for that one person who will change your life, take a look in the mirror.”
